Clothing of the 1970′s. The 1970′s were the first time blue jeans were seen at schools, church and sometimes even work.  Before this time, suits or at least dress shirts were usually worn to work or church.  Teenagers to young adults were joining into the hippie movement and many were seen with afros or long hair and beards.  The baseball cap became very popular and replaced the common fedora hat.
